ABOUT ME

Hi there! I’m Piper, an occupational therapist with a passion for pelvic floor therapy. My journey into this field was driven by a deep belief in the power of meaningful movement and holistic healing. With undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Kinesiology, followed by a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people reclaim comfort, confidence, and joy in their bodies.

MY APPROACH

To me, therapy isn’t just about treating symptoms—it’s about seeing the whole person. I know that pelvic floor challenges can feel isolating, frustrating, or even overwhelming, but you are so much more than a diagnosis. My goal is to create a space where healing feels accessible, personal, and empowering. Through individualized, hands-on care, I help my clients regain not just physical function, but a deep sense of ease in their daily lives.

MY BELIEFS

I believe that pain is more than just a signal from the body. It’s a complex, layered experience. While it can stem from physical injury or dysfunction, it’s also deeply connected to the brain, our emotions, our nervous system, and the stories we carry. True healing often starts when we look beyond symptoms and listen to the whole self.

I believe participation in meaningful activity is a cornerstone of well-being. When we engage in the things that light us up, our brains and bodies respond. Joy and purpose spark positive changes in our nervous system, which supports healing, which then deepens our desire and capacity to keep showing up for the things that matter. It’s all connected: health, happiness, and the rhythm of a life well-lived.

And I believe that the pelvic floor is no exception to this. It doesn’t just respond to traditional exercises or manual therapy. The pelvic floor thrives when we bring awareness, intention, and gentleness into the healing process. When we bring in the mind-body connection, healing isn’t just physical—it becomes transformational.

The Birth of

Pelvic floor therapy is traditionally offered in clinics, requiring clients to carve out time from their busy lives—coordinating childcare, shifting meetings, or simply battling traffic to get to an appointment. I saw the need for something different. That’s why I created Mind Body Marin—to bring therapy to you, in the comfort of your own home. By eliminating the stress of travel and rigid scheduling, I help women integrate healing into their real lives seamlessly and with ease. Because prioritizing your health should feel like an act of self-care, a gift to yourself. I’d love to support you on your journey. Let’s take this step together.
